An Apology
1 min readI owe the readers of Hankering for History an apology. Unfortunately, I got bogged down and hardly posted any articles (worth reading) over the last several months. In hopes of making up for my lack of participation, I accepted guest post submissions that were junk. For this I apologize.
As it was, the website was hard to navigate; therefore, I scaled back the complexity of the site. Moreover, I’ve lightened my load for 2014 in hopes that I can focus more energy and time on Hankering for History.
This site is easily one of my proudest achievements and has been a great learning experience for me both as an aspiring historian and a writer. I look forward to 2014 and all that it has to offer.
I hope that you take the opportunity to reacquaint yourself with the site–in hopes that you can satisfy your hankering for history!
apology accepted 😉 don’t be too hard to yourself. I am sure you will “recreate” your site.
Here’s hoping! 🙂
I like the cleaner look. But the, I am a minimalist…
OK, here’s your Christmas history trivia question (and a quiz on whether you remember one of my posts):
Who lead the last mounted cavalry charge in U.S. history?
For extra credit: where (country is good enough) and when (war is good enough).
Excellent question! I remember it was WW II and in the Philippines, however, I don’t remember who led it…
I get the email version and find them wonderful. It is a major task to post every day.
