They in effect said…hispanic sure latino yes, black, of course, Eskimos, Indians, and Arabs…yes, yes, and yes. But PLEASE No caucasians. They were hiring for a variety of “spots” for children’s’ programming and apparently it was important that Canadian children not be exposed to any of this whiteness that’s so very out of fashion these days..

Haha, well this is in Canada, so I am not that concerned. Besides, casting for television, movies, and modeling are allowed to “discriminate.” You wouldn’t expect a casting company to hire whites for a remake of The Cosby Show.

I suppose that might be true in history but I seriously doubt it’s true today. Quite the reverse in fact. Check out this CBC network story.
