					<description><![CDATA[Thanks for the appreciation you show towards the history of chainsaws! It truly is nice to see. However, there needs to be one vital correction to this article.  It was Dolmar that Makita purchased, not Stihl. Stihl is still headquartered in Germany and operated by decedents of Andreas.  Though, they have plants in other contries, such as the USA.   Dolmar and Makita chainsaws are exactly the same, only the name on them differs.  Both companies are respected companies.]]></description>
