When I worked at Texas A&M University back in the '80s, one of the Chemistry professors took his family on summer vacation to Canada each year. While they were there, everyone got physicals, eye exams, dentist checkups.........all free.

Well it is a blog, and not a book, so I can only cover so much. I will definitely agree with you that HMOs suck; however, if you look at the Health Maintenance Organization Act of 1973, you will clearly see that the original sponsor was Edward Kennedy. So while you may try to blame Nixon for his involvement in HMOs, on January 4, 1973, it was Edward Kennedy who introduced what would become public law 93-222. The earliest known HMO was created in 1910, three years before Nixon was even born. As he personally did not create the HMO and did not originate the HMOA of 1973, I think he is hardly to blame for it.

How easy it is to point fingers at those on the top.

The article was about health-care. So, my anonymous video spammer, should he have segued into another lengthy watergate seminar? btw, you're not reading a conservative blog. The problem is that you've been living inside that liberal msm echo chamber for so long that when you hear non-political, it sounds conservative. You've been walking on a left-ward slanting hill for a long time now, and you've now stepped out onto a level playing field, so of course to you it feels weird and unbalanced. Take it from a real conservative "blogger." Mr. Hankering has a long journey rightwards before he'll be able to stand next to me.
