For years I’ve been reading a lot about Jesse James and Bill Anderson’s gang. Lawence, Kansas…and out of the many books I’ve read…it’s amazing how many different versions of events you get. Finding the REAL truth is like putting a puzzle together, which I am still doing.

A great primer on how the CSA all got started.

Before the CSA the phrase “the United States” normally took a plural verb, but after the war ended the use of the singular form of its accompanying verb significantly increased [except for the phrase “these United States”].
